KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Solomon Dabe was born in Ethiopia but has been living in Kansas City, Mo., for 10 years with his wife, daughter and son. To help children struggling in his native land, Dabe started a new non-profit called A Bright Future For Kids.
The organization is collecting money to help provide struggling families in Ethiopia with necessities like food, clothing, water and a place to live.
“We are working with a team who will identify families and help those families,” Dabe said. He appeared Monday on 41 Action News Midday with Chance for Change supporters Lana Davis and Mary Brown.
