Juneydi Basha Tilmo elected the next president of Ethiopian Football Federation

Ato Junedin Beshah became the next president of Ethiopian Football Federation. He is elected in the Federation’s assembly that has been held for the past three days.

Ato Junedian who has represented Dire Dawa got 56 votes.

አቶ ጁነዲን ባሻ ቀጣዩ የኢትዮጵያ የእግር ኳስ ፌዴሬሽን ፕሬዝዳንት!! አቶ ጁነዲን ሀረር ቢራን ለ 20ዓመታት በሥራ አስኪያጅነት የመሩ ሲሆን በምክትል ሥራ አስኪያጅነትና በተለያዩ የሥራ ኃላፊነቶች ላይ ደግሞ በጥቅሉ ከ 30ዓመት በላይ አገልግሎት አላቸው::

በዚሁ የሥራ ጊዜያቸው ከብዙ በጥቂቱ በኢትዮጵያ የጥራት ሽልማት ድርጅት የሥራ አመራር ብቃት ተሸላሚ እና በአካባቢ ጥበቃ አገር አቀፍ ተሸላሚ ናቸው::

በአሁኑ ወቅት የኢት/ ንግድና ዘርፍ ማህበራት ም/ቤ ም/ፕሬዝዳንት ሆነው እያገለገሉ ነው:: አቶ ጁነዲን በስፖርቱ መስክም የሀረር ቢራ የእግር ኳስ ቡድንን የመሠረቱና አሁን ለደረሰበት ደረጃ ያበቁ በድሬዳዋና አካባቢዋ የስፖርት እንቅስቃሴዎች ዋነኛ አጋዥ በመሆናቸው ከአገሬው ሰው “የምስራቁ የስፖርት አባት” በሚል የቅፅል ስም እንዲጠሩ ሆኗል:: እኚህ ሰው እድሉን ካገኙ የአገራችንን የእግር ኳስ ደረጃ አሁን ካለበት ከፍ የማድረግ ብቃት ያላቸው ሰው ናቸው::

The Ethiopia Football Association has elected Juneidin Basha as its new president to replace Sahilu Gebrewold.

He beat three other candidates for the top football job in the East African nation, winning 55 of the 101 votes at Thursday’s General assembly.

Basha, a businessman, represented the eastern region of Dire Dawa.

He takes the job only three days before Ethiopia host Nigeria in Addis Ababa in the first leg of the sides’ 2014 World Cup play-off.

The return leg will take place in Calabar on 16 November, with the aggregate winners booking their place at next year’s tournament in Brazil.

Ethiopia are aiming to make it to the finals for the first time in their history.
